BOARD OF ASSESSORS
FEBRUARY 25, 2008
Chairman Suzanne Roberge called the meeting to order at 6:31pm. Councilors present included Robert Gagne, Michelle Kareckas, Jean Demetracopoulos, and David Burke. Town Manager Jeffrey A. Grossman and Assessing Agent Craig Skelton were also in attendance.
On a motion by Mrs. Demetracopoulos, seconded by Mrs. Kareckas, it was unanimously voted to grant abatement to Katie Lincoln, Map 11, Lot 7-1, in the amount of $265.67. The parcel was incorrectly assessed as commercial. Mr. Gagne abstained.
On a motion by Mrs. Demetracopoulos, seconded by Mr. Gagne, it was unanimously voted to grant abatement to Elfrieda Hunter, Map 8 Lot 85, in the amount of $307.05. Data entry error.
On a motion by Mrs. Demetracopoulos, seconded by Mr. Gagne, it was unanimously voted to grant abatement to Quamphegan Realty Corp., Map 2 Lot 21-1, in the amount of $146.85. The initial abatement granted (#6) was not processed for the correct amount. This abatement will correct the original which intended to delete the account entirely.
On a motion by Mr. Gagne, seconded by Mrs. Demetracopoulos, it was unanimously voted to adjourn the meeting at 6:37pm.
